Elizabeth is an associate with Mellen,
Smith & Pivoz. As a Certified Public Accountant, she has focused within the areas of financial statement audits and fraud (prevention, detection, and investigation). To further her knowledge in the area of fraud, Elizabeth has obtained the Certified Fraud Examiner credential and has participated in litigation support matters involving the prevention, detection, and investigation of fraud.
Throughout her career, Elizabeth has continued to advance her skills in accounting operating systems and has extensive experience with QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software platforms.
Elizabeth is also extensively involved in Mellen, Smith & Pivoz PLC’s Federal and State Payroll and Income Tax Preparation practice. In addition to traditional payroll and income tax return preparation, she has directly communicated with the Internal Revenue Service on behalf of clients and has assisted clients in reducing tax assessments made by the Internal Revenue Service.
